The good news is that since being elected to the PEN-International in Dec 2024, I have joined the Campaign for Imprisoned & Exiled Writers carried out by the Swedish PEN.

Our cross-cultural PEN community, that is active in over 100 countries worldwide, has been working for release from prisons the hundreds of writers and poets. Their crime was writing.
